Atalanta vs. Inter Predictions and Preview
After 24 months of overachieving, Atalanta are probably about bar in the table. La Dea are currently in 10th spot, behind the likes of Roma, Fiorentina and Torino, but the ambitious club from Lombardy still hope to defy the odds for another campaign. Instrumental duo Josip Ilicic and Alejandro Gomez are the standout threats for the hosts, with the Slovenian back in the goals. Ilicic hit a treble in the recent 5-1 win away at Chievo and is 8/1 to open the scoring against Inter.
Skipper Gomez tends to raise his game in the bigger matches and can be found at 6/1 in the same market. Atalanta are 15/8 to claim all three points while a draw is 9/4.

|Atalanta to win 2-1||9/1||Offer|
Luciano Spalletti’s Inter are the form side in the division. The Nerazzurri have won each of their last seven league games and look the real deal. Inter have kept five clean sheets during this run and netted 16 times, but more pleasingly for Spalletti is the reduced dependency on talisman Mauro Icardi. The Argentine remains the visitors’ star man by some distance, but Radja Nainggolan, Matteo Politano and Ivan Perisic are now all chipping in with valuable goals which has in turn, made Inter a more well rounded outfit.
Nainggolan, who has linked up well with Icardi since his arrival in the summer, is 4/1 to get on the scoresheet anytime. The Nerazzurri are 6/4 to bag another victory with showdowns against Juventus and Roma fast approaching.
One to watch for Atalanta: Duván Zapata got the winner against Bologna and is expected to be rewarded with a starting place at the expense of Musa Barrow. The imposing Colombian is 11/5 to strike anytime during the meeting.
One to watch for Inter: Politano has made the right wing his own and can consider himself unlucky not to make Roberto Mancini’s Nations League squad last month. The former Sassuolo wideman is 3/1 in the same market.
Long shot: Icardi, Perisic and Politano have understandably hit the headlines for their goalscoring exploits but in Miranda, Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij, Inter have the current best defence in the league. The trio have shipped just six goals from 11 games and a clean sheet is likely to result in another positive result. A 3-0 away day triumph is 28/1.
