Atalanta vs. Juventus Predictions and Preview
Atalanta are once again impressing this season – they have won six of their last eight matches including home victories over both Inter and Lazio.
That has led the Bergamo-based side into sixth in the standings and within touching distance of Milan and Lazio, the two sides immediately above them.
Juventus are in imperious form this season – they have dropped just two points from their opening 16 rounds of Serie A fixtures and sit eight points clear at the top of the league.
The only blotch on Max Allegri’s side record was a home draw against Genoa earlier in the campaign, but his side have won all other of their 15 league games this season.
If you fancy the away side to be leading at both half-time and at the final whistle, such odds are available at 21/10 while Juve to win to nil, as has been the case in each of the past three meetings, is at 85/40.
One to watch for Atalanta: Colombian striker Duvan Zapata is the dangerman for the hosts and has six goals in 11 Serie A starts this season, with five of those coming in his last three matches.
One to watch for Juventus: Cristiano Ronaldo already has 11 Serie A goals this campaign with eight of those coming in his most recent nine matches. The Portuguese forward has a total of 409 league goals across a glorious career.
Long shot: Juventus have already kept 13 clean sheets in all competitions this season while Atalanta have drawn a blank in seven matches. Odds of this game to finish scoreless are available at 9/1.
