Atalanta v Juventus Predictions and Preview
Duvan Zapata will be joined by Luis Muriel up top and the latter has already matched his domestic haul from last term with eight rounds of action still to play. The former Udinese, Sampdoria and Fiorentina ace has shone under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini and Antonio Conte is keen to snap up the Colombian in the summer.
In the meantime, Muriel is 7/2 to break the deadlock and compatriot Zapata can be found at 9/2. The burly hitman will be desperate to lay down a marker ahead of next month’s Coppa Italia final and has a good record against the Bianconeri.

|Weston McKennie to score anytime||4/1||Offer|
|Over 4.5 goals||10/3||Offer|
Ruslan Malinovskiy will support the duo and is beginning to fill the creative void left by idol and ex-skipper Papu Gomez. The playmaker has laid off four assists from his last two appearances but is also a threat from distance. The Genk recruit is 12/5 to bag anytime, while Robin Gosens is 10/3.
Statistically, the 26-year-old is the standout performer in his position in Europe and it is easy to see why Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone are monitoring the wing-back. Gosens has 15 goal contributions during the 2020-21 season and the German is full of praise for his manager’s role in his development. Atalanta are 7/5 to emerge triumphant and a share of the spoils is 13/5.
Visitors Juventus are a whopping 12 points adrift of champions elect Inter and the futures of Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala are all in doubt.
29-goal Ronaldo is keen on a reunion with old team-mates Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos but Kylian Mbappe is Florentino Perez’s dream signing and there is unlikely to be sufficient funds for both deals.
The Portugal skipper is 10/3 to open proceedings and Morata is available at 6/1. The Atletico owned striker has netted 14 goals and there is understandable surprise on the player’s part Juventus have hesitated over making the switch permanent. Colleague Chiesa is set for a long spell in Turin. The Azzurri winger is 15/8 to score anytime and the Bianconeri are 9/5 to win.
One to watch for Atalanta: Josip Ilicic has refused to rule out a move to Milan and would be a huge loss for Gasperini after Gomez departed in the winter. The elegant attacker is 11/2 to notch last.
One to watch for Juventus: Dejan Kulusevski started in an experimental 4-4-2 in the previous gameweek and registered first. The former Dea youth graduate is 9/1 to repeat his exploits.
Long shot: Atalanta are the division’s top scorers with 71 and have the added incentive on leapfrogging Juventus with a victory. La Dea arguably have the deepest and strongest forward line in Serie A and Gasperini can look to his bench if required. In contrast, Pirlo has limited options in the same department and the hosts will quite rightly fancy their chances against a wounded Bianconeri. A 3-1 success for the popular Bergamo based outfit is 18/1.
