Bologna vs. Milan Predictions and Preview
Bologna have endured a horrendous start to their league campaign – they find themselves in the relegation zone and without a win in eight attempts in Serie A.
Boss Filippo Inzaghi – a legend at opponents Milan – is immediately under pressure in his position and could be out of the post if results don’t immediately improve.
Gennaro Gattuso is another boss under pressure despite the Milanese giants occupying a top four position – they have managed just two league victories in their last five.
The Rossoneri’s minimum requirements for the campaign is a top four finish and with Roma enduring a nightmare campaign, there will be immense pressure for them to achieve this target.
If you fancy the away side to be leading at both half-time and at the final whistle, such odds are available at 2/1.
One to watch for Bologna: Experienced Paraguayan striker Federico Santander is the dangerman for the hosts. With four goals in 15 league appearances, he is the club’s top scorer in Serie A so far this campaign.
One to watch for Milan: Gonzalo Higuain has already hit 116 goals in Serie A since joining the division in 2013 and five of those have come this season for Milan. The Argentine striker, as ever, will be the main source of goals for the visitors.
Long shot: Bologna have already been held to nil on seven occasions while Milan have failed to find the net twice in their last four league games. Odds of this game to finish scoreless are available at 9/1.
