Italy are well positioned to advanced to the final four of the tournament, despite the upheaval over this international break. Moise Kean is the latest in a long line of players to leave camp after Lorenzo Pellegrini, Bryan Cristante, Gianluca Mancini were ruled out by Roma. Ciro Immobile, Francesco Caputo, Alessio Romagnoli and Giorgio Chiellini are also unavailable.

Assistant manager Alberico Evani is expected to pair Leonardo Bonucci with Alessandro Bastoni at the heart of defence. The giant Inter defender is a mainstay in Antonio Conte’s side and is hoping to leapfrog Romagnoli as the first choice left sided centre-half for the Azzurri.

Sandro Tonali, Roberto Gagliardini, Manuel Locatelli, Jorginho and Nicolò Barella are battling it out for the three midfield places with the latter a certainty to start. The Nerazzurri star has shone for club and country over the last 12 months and is on the radar of a host of top Premier League outfits.

Barella is 9/2 to net anytime, while domestic team-mate Gagliardini is available at 15/2. Federico Bernardeschi and Insigne will occupy the wide roles with Domenico Berardi, Federico Chiesa, Stephan El Shaarawy and Vincenzo Grifo all in reserve.

Bernardeschi has cut a frustrated figure with Juventus but has performed well when called upon by the Azzurri and is 11/2 to open proceedings. Meanwhile, Grifo can consider himself unlucky if he is not selected to feature from the opening whistle after his brace against Karel Voolaid’s troops.

The German born attacker is 11/5 to bag anytime and Andrea Belotti is 4/1 to break the deadlock. The Torino talisman is approaching a key period in his career and is good enough to play in Europe on a consistent basis. Italy are 4/11 to claim the spoils.

One to watch for Bosnia-Herzegovina: Irfan Hadžić will deputise for Edin Dzeko and is averaging one in two this term domestically for Akhisar Belediyespor. The target man is 4/1 to strike anytime.

One to watch for Italy: Much like Berardi, Riccardo Orsolini has obvious ability but is struggling for consistency. The Bologna speedster will hope to the follow the path of his compatriot and is 21/4 to notch last.

Long shot: Bosnia have yet to win in 2020 and there is an overreliance on Dzeko to deliver. Beyond the Lupi idol, only Pjanic and Visca have contributed double figures for the Dragons in the current squad and with goal difference a potential factor, Italy will be on the attack early on. A 5-0 victory is 33/1.
