Brescia v Juventus Predictions and Preview

It’s won two, lost two for Eugenio Corini’s troops and the Italian can be content with how his men have fared from their first four outings. Pleasingly for the tactician, Brescia have been in each contest, and made life particularly difficult for Milan who stumbled to three points in the clash at the end of August.

Corini has a welcome selection dilemma on his hands with Mario Balotelli now available after serving a four-match suspension. The mercurial striker’s talent has never been in doubt, but at the age of 29, time is running out to fulfill his true ability.

Le Rondinelle tend to line-up in a 4-3-2-1 formation with Alfredo Donnarumma assured of a starting role. The goal machine already has three strikes to his name and, alongside Balotelli, could steer Brescia to a comfortable midtable finish. Donnarumma is an attractive 9/1 to net first, while the home side are 15/2 to pull off a shock win and 4/1 to earn a point.

Visitors Juventus were given a real scare against Ivan Juric’s Gialloblu. The Bianconeri went a goal behind and ultimately emerged triumphant, but it wasn’t pretty from Maurizio Sarri’s men. Paulo Dybala was given a rare start but is expected to make way for Gonzalo Higuain.

The former Napoli attacker is 11/10 to register anytime while Cristiano Ronaldo is 21/10 to open proceedings and 4/1 to get two or more. The Bianconeri are 4/11 to chalk up a fourth league success from five games as they patiently wait for an Inter slipup.

One to watch for Brescia: Sandro Tonali is another Azzurri midfielder with huge promise and a strong showing against the title holders will catapult him in to the limelight. The 19-year-old is 9/1 to score anytime.

One to watch for Juventus: Aaron Ramsey struck on his first start for the Bianconeri and offers something different to Sarri’s other midfield options. The box-to-box Welshman is 15/8 in the same anytime scorer market.

Long shot: Juventus are still getting to grips with Sarri’s methods and it showed against Verona. The Bianconeri’s playing style is evolving from that of Max Allegri, but with the personnel at the Neapolitan’s disposal, it is only a matter of time before the champions hit top gear. A 4-1 success is available at 20/1.
