Crotone v Juventus Predictions and Preview
The Calabrian outfit are set for a season long battle to beat the drop but do have a forward capable of finding the back of the net. Simy, the giant Nigerian, who memorably struck an overhead kick against the Bianconeri during Crotone’s last campaign in Serie A is nearing a half century of league efforts and is already off the mark this term.
The 28-year-old grabbed a consolation away at Sassuolo and is 6/1 to break the deadlock and Ahmed Benali is available at 9/2 to bag anytime. The Libyan has turned out for Brescia, Palermo, Pescara and the Rossoblù over the last nine years and will provide support for Simy. Crotone are 11/2 to pull off a shock result and 7/2 to earn a draw.

The visiting Bianconeri will have to make do without Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portugal captain tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty and is set for a spell on the sidelines despite being asymptomatic.
The Juventus number seven is almost certainly out of the Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev, and potentially the showdown with Barcelona, in what would be a significant blow for Andrea Pirlo.
The World Cup winner is likely to field Alvaro Morata as the spearhead with Paulo Dybala, new boy Federico Chiesa and Kulusevski in behind the returning Spaniard. The former Real Madrid and Chelsea ace has never been prolific but works well in tandem with another striker, as previously seen with Carlos Tevez, and is 10/3 to open proceedings.
Dybala is 9/2 to register first and big things are also expected of the South American. La Joya is beginning his seventh campaign as a Bianconeri player but there is a belief he can offer more and be decisive in the Champions League on a more regular basis. Pirlo is a big admirer of his old team-mate and Juventus are 9/20 to chalk up victory.
One to watch for Crotone: Emmanuel Rivière hit a very respectable 13 goals from 31 appearances for Cosenza in Serie B before sealing a switch to neighbours Crotone. The Martinique attacker is 32/5 to notch last.
One to watch for Juventus: In Chiesa and Kulusevski, the champions have a fresh injection of pace and the Azzurri winger is ready to make the step up. The ex-Fiorentina fan favourite is 5/1 to mark his debut with the final effort.
Long shot: Sterner tests are on the horizon for Juventus and Pirlo will be a keen observer as to how his men fare in the absence of Ronaldo. Despite the well documented overreliance on the Bianconeri talisman, there is still great quality in the squad and a 4-1 outcome is 22/1.
