Fiorentina v Inter Predictions and Preview
Cesare Prandelli will ring the changes with Jose Callejon, Erick Pulgar and Alfred Duncan all set to start. The recruit from Napoli has only featured in seven Serie A matches since moving to Tuscany in October, and, while he is now set for an extended period in the eleven after Franck Ribery’s knee injury, will still be disappointed at his lack of involvement to date. Callejon was the man for the big occasion for the Azzurri and is 7/4 to net anytime.

|Ivan Perisic to score first||14/5||Offer|
|Inter to win 2-1||15/2||Offer|
|Over 3.5 goals||6/4||Offer|
Dusan Vlahovic and Christian Kouame are the only recognised strikers on the books after Patrick Cutrone’s loan spell was cut short. The Milan youth graduate was sent back to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Prandelli has little choice but to field the duo. Vlahovic is 9/2 to break the deadlock and Kouame is 11/2 in the to score anytime. Fiorentina are 10/3 to advance in regulation time and 2/1 outright.
Opponents Inter arguably have the strongest squad in the country. Conte can give breathers to Achraf Hakimi, Ashley Young, Nicolo Barella, Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni, and bring in replacements of similar ability.
Stefano Sensi was instrumental in the Nerazzurri’s 6-2 thrashing over Crotone at the beginning of the month and will link up with Arturo Vidal in the middle of the park. The talented playmaker is an attractive 14/1 to open proceedings and has been likened to a new signing after returning from a spell on the sidelines. Matteo Darmian, Perisic and Aleksandar Kolarov are likely to get run outs.
Romelu Lukaku is 15/4 to register first and add to his 16-goal tally. The Belgian was sorely missed as Inter toiled away at Sampdoria and Conte will be delighted to have his talisman back in the team. The visitors are 7/10 to emerge triumphant after 90 minutes and 4/11 to reach the last eight of the tournament.
One to watch for Fiorentina: Cristiano Biraghi appeared 37 times for the Nerazzurri last year and was unlucky not to see the move made permanent. The wing-back is 11/1 to notch anytime.
One to watch for Inter: Alexis Sanchez is 32/5 to bag first and needs to impress if he is to dislodge the Lukaku – Martinez partnership.
Long shot: Fiorentina stunned Scudetto holders Juventus before the pause in play for the festive period and gave a timely reminder of the quality in the ranks. Gaetano Castrovilli, Nikola Milenkovic and Sofyan Amrabat are all highly sought after and the Viola could spring another surprise. A 3-1 triumph is 28/1.
