Serie A champions Inter Milan will aim to get back on track on Saturday when they host Bologna at the San Siro. The Nerazzurri drew 2-2 away to Sampdoria last time out and will be eager to return to victories after winning both of their previous games. Bologna also started the season well by earning four points from their first two games, so Sinisa Mihajlovic will be eager to cause an upset against his former team.

Inter v Bologna Predictions and Preview
Despite the concerns that Inter would struggle without Antonio Conte, Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi, the Nerazzurri started off the season in an impressive manner. Two consecutive victories against Genoa and Verona were followed up by a 2-2 draw away to Sampdoria, so the Beneamata are once again on track to compete for the Scudetto.
Simone Inzaghi’s men scored nine goals in those games and have conceded only three, so putting the Sampdoria game aside, the Nerazzurri have been quite dominant so far. Argentinian duo Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa will once again be fully fit and available after the later missed the last game after returning late from international duty.
Lautaro already has two goals and has looked as sharp, while Correa had a dream debut coming off the bench against Genoa and scoring twice for Inter’s 3-1 win. Both players will compete on who to partner with Edin Dzeko up front, as Inter also has a mid-week clash against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Inter to win and Over 2.5 goals
Handicap Inter -1
Dzeko to score first
Surprisingly, Inter have won just one of their last three home games against Bologna. That victory was last year when Romelu Lukaku’s striker made the difference in what was a cagey 1-0 win for the Nerazzurri. Prior to that, Bologna had won their lasts two visits at San Siro, so Sinisa Mihajlovic knows how to get a result against his former team.
Bologna are one of the favourite victims of Edin Dzeko in Serie A, as the Bosnian has five goals against I Rossoblu. The Bosnian scored on his official debut, but has gone two games without finding the back of the net since, so he’ll be extra motivated to score this weekend.
Stefano Sensi and Alessandro Bastoni are in doubt for Inter, while Christian Eriksen cannot play in Serie A for the time being and will be out for the unforeseen future. Bologna, meanwhile, have their full squad available, so the visitors will try to cause an upset.
Despite this, Inter are 4/11 with William Hill to get the three points against Bologna. The draw is available at 4/11, while a what would be a surprising victory for I Rossoblu can be backed up at 15/2. Five of the last seven games between those teams have seen Over 2.5 goals, so placing a bet at 1/2 might be a good option as well.
One to watch for Inter: Edin Dzeko’s five goals against Bologna make I Rossoblu, the Bosnian’s third-favourite victim in Serie A. The 35-year-old has played well since joining Lazio, but he’ll need to score more goals in order to get out of Lukaku’s shadow, so watch out for Dzeko to break the deadlock on Saturday.
One to watch for Bologna: Marco Arnautovic scored on his debut for Bologna in the 3-2 victory over Salernitana. The Austrian can be a real difference maker for Sinisa Mihajlovic side and will be a one to watch in the first scorer market at San Siro.
Long shot: The last game between Inter and Bologna at the San Siro ended in a 3-1 win for the Nerazzurri. A repeat of that score on Saturday is available at 10/1 with William Hill, but it raises up further if you pair it with Edin Dzeko to score the opener.
