Inter meet a Parma squad perilously close to the Serie A drop zone. The Crociati have only won one of their first five fixtures, and, while there won’t be any immediate concerns for Fabio Liverani, the visitors could do with taking something from the occasion, particularly with a tough run of matches coming up.

Last time: Gervinho and Stefan de Vrij exchanged efforts before Alessandro Bastoni’s late winner.
Inter v Parma Predictions and Preview
Inter strolled to a 2-0 win against Genoa in the previous gameweek, courtesy of Romelu Lukaku and Danilo D’Ambrosio. The Belgian hitman has been in stunning form this term and has single handedly won, and, indeed, salvaged points for the Milan giants on multiple occasions despite the campaign being in its infancy.
Antonio Conte fought for Lukaku’s signature and has been vindicated. The Italian tactician knows he must deliver silverware this year after Giuseppe Marotta signed every player on the former Juventus tactician’s shortlist and the ex-Manchester United ace will be central to any success.

|Lautaro Martinez to score first||7/2||Offer|
|Inter to win 2-1||15/2||Offer|
Lukaku is 12/5 to open proceedings and is nearing a half century of goals with Inter after just 14 months at the club. Achraf Hakimi is 3/1 to net anytime and has already linked up with the Nerazzurri number 9 to desired effect.
There was much surprise when Real Madrid let their youth graduate leave on a permanent deal and Hakimi is one of the best in his position on the continent. Conte has experience and quality in every department and Arturo Vidal is 6/4 to notch anytime. The Chilean first linked up with the 51-year-old in Turin but still has plenty to offer. The hosts are 1/4 to chalk up the victory.
It has been a strange few months for Parma. The Crociati shockingly dismissed popular coach Roberto D’Aversa, the man who led them back to Italy’s top flight. The German born manager guided Parma to impressive 14th and 11th place finishes but received his marching orders in August.
D’Aversa’s successor Liverani has been handed a boost with the return to fitness of Andreas Cornelius. The big Dane is 10/1 to break the deadlock and will relish the physical battle with Bastoni and De Vrij. Parma are 9/1 to come away with the spoils and a stalemate is 5/1.
One to watch for Inter: Ashley Young has now recovered from COVID-19 and went straight back in to the side for the European encounter with Shakhtar Donetsk. The experienced Englishman is 15/4 to bag anytime.
One to watch for Parma: Prior to Andrea Pinamonti’s return, Gervinho was being closely monitored by the Nerazzurri. The speedster is an attractive 11/1 to register first.
Long shot: Parma saw Dejan Kulusevski return to the Bianconeri at the end of last season and have sorely missed the talented winger. The Crociati have struggled, but there is cause for optimism against a leaky Inter rearguard. The Nerazzurri, usually rock solid at the back, have only kept one clean sheet domestically and there are clear personnel issues. An exciting 2-2 outcome is 20/1.
