Inter vs. Parma Predictions and Preview
With the visit of Tottenham on the horizon, Inter boss Luciano Spalletti may shuffle his pack with Sime Vrsaljko, Matías Vecino and Lautaro Martinez all pushing for starts. The Nerazzurri make their return to Europe’s premier competition after a six-year absence following their dramatic 3-2 win against Lazio in May and have been dealt a difficult draw alongside Barcelona, the English club and PSV.
|Inter to win 3-0||13/2||Offer|
|Over 2.5 goals||8/13||Offer|
|Parma to win 2-1||25/1||Offer|
Despite this, a favourable result against Parma would be the perfect preparation for the big clash and Inter are predictably the favourites at 1/4. Ivan Perisic, one of the stars of the World Cup for Croatia, leads the way for the home side with two goals from his first three appearances and will be a danger from the opening whistle. Perisic is 17/4 to open proceedings and this is understandably a popular choice.
Summer acquisition Radja Nainggolan opened his account for his new club against the Rossoblu and will see plenty of the ball in the role off the striker. The Belgian can be found at 6/4 to get on the scoresheet anytime while Inter are 13/15 to register in both halves of action.
Roberto D’Aversa’s troops come in to the contest after a valiant showing against champions Juventus in the previous game week. After Mario Mandzukic’s second minute opener the expectation was the Bianconeri would run riot, but Gervinho gave the Gialloblu a shock, but deserved equaliser. Max Allegri’s men eventually secured the points but it was Parma who emerged with the credit and they are 10/1 to clinch a stunning win in Milan.
One to watch for Inter: Matteo Politano. The Italian was a surprising omission from Roberto Mancini’s Nations League squad after settling in well at Inter. The winger is 21/4 in the anytime market.
One to watch for Parma: Striker Roberto Inglese at 14/1 in the first scorer betting. The Napoli owned forward gave a good account of himself against Juventus and is expected to lead the line in Milan.
Long shot: Inter may have left it late against Bologna but encouragingly picked up maximum points in the absence of talisman Mauro Icardi. The Argentine is expected to return to the line-up and will be itching to get off the mark for the campaign. A comprehensive 4-0 triumph for the hosts is available at 12/1 and could be worth a flutter if Icardi struck early on.
