Inter v Torino Predictions and Preview
This is a fixture which was very kind to Inter for a number of years, before Torino came back with a strong run of their own. After failing to beat the Nerazzurri for 22 games spread across more than two decades, Torino beat Inter four times in nine meetings between 2015 and 2019, only losing twice.
The odds on the Granata claiming a victory in this match are slim though, with the visitors priced at 15/2 in these Inter v Torino predictions. Marco Giampaolo’s side have only won one game all season, against a Genoa outfit who they share a paltry five points with after seven matches.
Il Toro are searching for their form of 2018-10 which saw them finish up in seventh and only three points off a place in Europe, but they’re unlikely to find it this weekend. Inter aren’t having the best time of it right now, but Antonio Conte’s squad is packed with quality and the heavy favourites for the victory.

Inter to win and over 4.5 goals
Inter to win 3-2
Lukaku to score first
The Nerazzurri are priced at 7/19 to win their fourth game of the season. They’ve faltered since winning their opening two, recording only a single victory in their last eight fixtures in all competitions. However, Inter have only lost two of those games, 2-1 to Milan and 3-2 to Real Madrid. With five draws in that run, another stalemate here is 19/4.
Conte’s defence has been poor in the opening weeks of the new season. Inter have only kept two clean sheets in their first 10 matches of the campaign, conceding 16. They’ve been strong at the other end though, scoring 21 times, while it’s a similar story with Torino.
The Granata have netted 15 goals in their opening eight fixtures in league and cup, including three in a 4-3 defeat to Lazio. They’ve conceded 17 at the other end though, and after Inter bagged six in two games against Torino last season, this could be a high-scoring affair. With that in mind, an over 4.5 goals bet is available at 53/21.
One to watch for Inter: Romelu Lukaku drew a blank in his last two games for Inter before the international break, but the Belgian striker had netted 10 in eight this season before that. He is the 3/1 favourite to break the deadlock in this game.
One to watch for Torino: Andrea Belotti is also without a goal in his last two games for Torino, following a run of six in four prior to that. The Italy international is 15/2 to get back on the scoresheet with the opener on Sunday.
