Juventus vs. Atalanta Predictions and Preview
Everything went the hosts’ way on Matchday 30. The Nerazzurri capitulated at home to Bologna and Milan thumped closest challengers Lazio 3-0 in the capital. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri secured bragging rights over neighbours Turin and moved closer to the title.
Maurizio Sarri appears to have settled on a front six with Adrien Rabiot and Federico Bernardeschi the main beneficiaries. Rabiot has yet to score for the Bianconeri but looks sharp, while the Italian ace brings pace and urgency from the wide areas.
Cristiano Ronaldo is 11/4 favourite to open proceedings while Dybala is 5/1. The Bianconeri are 10/11 to earn victory and the draw is 13/5. Juventus will face arguably the most entertaining squad in Europe. La Dea have outscored Maurizio Sarri’s men by a whopping 20 goals in the league and have attacking threats all over the pitch.

|Duvan Zapata to score first||9/2||Offer|
|Draw and both teams to score||3/1||Offer|
|Juventus to win 2-1||7/1||Offer|
Duvan Zapata was the spearhead last year but through a combination of injuries and the form of countryman Luis Muriel, has not featured as heavily this term. The burly hitman is likely to be selected for the encounter on Saturday though and his physicality will be needed against a big Bianconeri backline.
Zapata will be supported by skipper Papu Gomez and Josip Ilicic. Gomez is adored in the terraces and it is easy to see why. The diminutive playmaker has notched 15 assists, the most in the division, and netted on seven occasions.
Gomez is 13/5 to bag anytime while Ilicic, who had fair claim as player of the season prior to injury, is 2/1 in the same market. The mercurial Slovenian is 32 but has got better with age and leads the way as La Dea top scorer with 20 in all competitions.
One to watch for Juventus: Juan Cuadrado may line up in defence but the Colombian is integral to the Bianconeri’s attacking play. The ex-Udinese and Fiorentina speedster struck in the Derby della Mole and is 17/2 to register last.
One to watch for Atalanta: Wing-back Gosens has an astonishing 10 goals and 6 assists to his name and is a summer target for Chelsea and Inter. The German has yet to be capped at senior level but there are few better players in his position and he will fancy his chances against a defensively suspect Danilo. Gosens is 4/1 to net anytime.
Long shot: Atalanta last failed to score in a league clash in November and have the firepower to sweep aside any team in Italy. Coupled with this, La Dea famously humbled Juventus in the Coppa Italia last year, beating the holders at the time 3-0 and Gasperini’s troops will travel to Turin full of confidence. A 2-0 result in favour of the travelling party is available at 28/1.
