Juventus v Fiorentina Predictions and Preview
Federico Chiesa is expected to face his old team-mates for the first time since moving to Juventus on deadline day. The winger was the crown jewel in the Viola setup but wanted to test himself at the highest level as the Bianconeri chase honours both domestically and on the continent.
With Juan Cuadrado flourishing on the right-flank, and, arguably the standout player in his position in Europe this term, Chiesa is battling it out with Dejan Kulusevski and Alex Sandro for a spot on the left wing, but his stunner against Atalanta should be enough to earn a starting jersey.
Chiesa is 6/1 to open proceedings, while joint top scorer in the division Ronaldo can be found at 7/2. The ex-Real Madrid superstar recently marked his 100th appearance for the champions with a brace, taking his tally to 79 in just two-and-a-bit seasons in Italy.

Alvaro Morata will link up with the Portugal skipper in attack and is 8/5 to register anytime. The forward’s stunning form has raised big question marks on the future of Paulo Dybala and there are conflicting reports coming out of both camps.
The South American is unable to dislodge the Morata from the eleven and could be heading for the exit door as early as January. Juventus are 4/9 to claim the spoils and will relish plunging Fiorentina in to further trouble.
Prandelli will be scratching his head at his squad’s current predicament. The travelling party are loaded with players of international quality and should be a top-10 outfit.
There are few better and more technically gifted midfield’s in the league than Gaetano Castrovilli, Jack Bonaventura and Sofyan Amrabat, while Frack Ribery provides stardust and pedigree.
Callejon, Martin Caceres and Cristiano Biraghi have spent large parts of their careers towards the top of the standings, while Nikola Milenkovic is admired by Inter and Milan. Ribery is 13/2 to open proceedings and the visitors are 11/2 to emerge triumphant. A stalemate is 7/2.
One to watch for Juventus: Federico Bernardeschi was a Viola hero before forcing a transfer to the Bianconeri in 2017. The left footer will get a runout in the closing stages and is 13/2 to notch last.
One to watch for Fiorentina: Castrovilli will have a decision to make at the end of the campaign if the Tuscan side have underwhelmed again. The playmaker is appreciated by the Bianconeri, Roma and a host of others in Serie A and is 5/1 to bag anytime.
Long shot: This grudge fixture tends to lift the Viola dressing room and they have a chance of taking something from the occasion if Prandelli alters the formation. Predecessor Iachini persisted with 3-5-2, which does not get the best out of the personnel available and a return to a 4-3-3 setup will allow Ribery to go back out wide, bringing Christian Kouame through the middle. A 2-1 away win is 22/1.
