Juventus can seal an eighth successive Serie A crown with victory against arch rivals Fiorentina this weekend. In the shock of the previous gameweek, the Bianconeri suffered defeat at the hands of SPAL while the Viola have failed to win any of their last eight league fixtures.

Last time: Rodrigo Bentancur opened the scoring before Cristiano Ronaldo’s late brace settled things for the Bianconeri. The contest was unsurprisingly marred by a whopping nine yellow cards when the sides met in December.

Juventus vs. Fiorentina Predictions and Preview
Max Allegri rang the changes in the clash in Ferrara, resting Wojciech Szczesny, Leonardo Bonucci, Miralem Pjanic and a host of other regulars with one eye on the return leg against Ajax. The loss was only the second of the domestic campaign and Juventus can still break the 100-point barrier if they win each of their six remaining clashes.
Cristiano Ronaldo will return to the first-team picture after a short spell on the sidelines. The Portuguese superstar trails Fabio Quagliarella by three goals in the top scorer standings and will want to cap his first season in Italy with both personal and domestic honours. Ronaldo is 9/4 to open proceedings and 15/8 to net two or more.
Meanwhile, Moise Kean, the forward who scored the Bianconeri’s solitary goal against SPAL is 11/2 to bag the final effort of the contest, though the youngster will hope – and quite rightly, that he will start the contest from the opening whistle after a breakthrough 2019. Juventus are 8/15 to secure all three points and yet another title in the process.
Travelling party Fiorentina have endured a miserable couple of months. The Viola will be led by the returning Vincenzo Montella who recently replaced Stefano Pioli in the dugout.
Despite their poor position in the table, Montella has plenty of talent at his disposal with Federico Chiesa at the forefront. The talented wideman, who is expected to be the subject of a transfer tussle between current employers Fiorentina and Juventus, is 6/1 to hit the first goal of the match. Fiorentina are 11/2 to emerge triumphant and 14/5 to earn a share of the spoils.
One to watch for Juventus: Federico Bernardeschi will come up against his former club and should get the nod ahead of Paulo Dybala. The left footer will most likely operate from the right flank and is 12/5 to notch anytime.
One to watch for Fiorentina: Luis Muriel has six goals from 13 appearances and will link up with Giovanni Simeone in attack. The Colombian is 7/1 to register first.
Long shot: Historically, this grudge match has not disappointed from a neutrals perspective. The fixture has goals and no shortage of controversy as both look to get the upper hand on each other on matchday. A 2-2 final score is 27/1.
