Lazio v Roma Predictions and Preview
Lazio have a lot of work to do if they are to achieve their top four objective. In Inzaghi’s defence, the Biancocelesti have been blighted by injuries all campaign but are still in the Coppa Italia and successfully came through the group stage of the Champions League.
The Italian tactician will be pleased with recent victories over Fiorentina and Parma and knows his squad can go on lengthy unbeaten runs, much like they did last year from October to January.

|Lazio to win 2-1||17/2||Offer|
2019-20 Serie A Golden Boot and European Golden Shoe winner Ciro Immobile is the danger man for Lazio. The Italy striker has 16 goals and three assists to his name and he is closing in on being the club’s all-time top scorer.
The Neapolitan is 7/2 to open proceedings and partner Felipe Caicedo can be found at 13/2. The big Ecuadorian does not receive the same plaudits as Immobile but is idolised by his boss and colleagues and is wanted by Antonio Conte this month.
In midfield, Sergej Milinković-Savić is rediscovering the form that saw him strongly linked to Manchester United, Juventus and Chelsea. The Lazio number 21 is 12/5 to net anytime and the home dressing room on the night are 15/8 to earn the bragging rights.
Fierce rivals Roma put on a spirited display against Inter in the previous round of action. The Giallorossi came from behind to salvage a share of the spoils and dent the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto hopes.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been one of the standout performers in Europe this term and has struck on nine occasions. The ex-Manchester United and Arsenal playmaker has also set up his team-mates nine times and is 6/1 to break the deadlock.
Giallorossi talisman and captain Dzeko is 7/2 to register first and now looks set to see out his career in the capital after rejecting countless offers elsewhere. Dzeko’s deputy Borja Mayoral is 9/2 to claim the final effort and Roma are 13/10 to emerge triumphant. A draw is 27/10.
One to watch for Lazio: Joaquin Correa has given Inzaghi a timely boost with his return to fitness. The ex-Sevilla ace offers something different to the more physical Immobile and Caicedo and is 15/2 to notch last.
One to watch for Roma: Jordan Veretout takes penalties for the Giallorossi and has already scored five times from the spot. The former Fiorentina man has eight in all competitions, and is 3/1 to bag anytime.
Long shot: Roma are this season’s surprise package. Only the Milan outfits have won more games than the Giallorossi and Fonseca’s troops are a joy to watch. In the opposing camp, Inzaghi’s issues have been documented, but at full strength, the elevens are evenly matched. Expect fireworks from the first whistle and, if history is anything to go by in this fixture, goals. A 3-3 outcome is 47/1.
