Livingston v Rangers Predictions and Preview
Hosts Livingston only just missed out on European qualification through their league position. Lions hitman Lyndon Dykes will lead the line and has attracted interest from Championship sides Derby County and Barnsley. The Aussie scored 12 goals in 33 appearances and is 15/2 to break the deadlock. Livingston are 13/2 to emerge triumphant and a stalemate at the final whistle is available at 7/2.
After months of speculation and questioning, Steven Gerrard will be delighted he can count on talisman Alfredo Morelos for the 2020-21 campaign. The maverick Colombian was the subject of strong interest from Lille and had agreed personal terms with the French outfit.

However, Gers stood firm on their valuation of the player and a £17m bid was quickly rebuffed. The Glaswegians wanted in excess of £25m for their talisman and knew Lille had the money after selling hotshot Victor Osimhen to Napoli for €70m.
Les Douges turned their attention elsewhere and snapped up Gent hotshot Jonathan David and Morelos has reportedly committed his future to the Scottish heavyweights as a result.
The 24-year-old fan favourite has been prolific during his time at Ibrox, both domestically and on the continent. Morelos struck on 14 occasions in last term’s Europa League and is closing in on a half-century of goals for the club. The Rangers number 20 hit two against St Mirren on Matchday 2 and is 13/5 favourite to open proceedings.
Gerrard has slightly adapted his 4-3-3 setup to a 4-2-3-1 formation with Ryan Kent, Hagi and Joe Aribo supporting the frontman. Liverpool youth graduate Kent will be aiming for double figures this campaign and is 19/10 to register anytime.
Jermain Defoe remains on the sidelines with a hamstring strain and Gerrard will be spoilt for choice once the veteran returns to the fold. Rangers are 2/5 to claim the spoils.
One to watch for Livingston: Scott Pittman will feature from the left flank and there will be space for the winger with marauding full-back James Tavernier bombing on. The West Lothian native is 9/2 to strike anytime.
One to watch for Rangers: Kemar Roofe has not moved from Anderlecht to play second fiddle to Morelos. The Englishman will offer fierce competition once settled and is 18/5 to score last.
Long shot: Rangers are out to stop Celtic making it 10 titles in a row and have recruited astutely. The Light Blues are closer to the Bhoys than last term’s league table suggested and the added firepower should help convert scrappy draws in to wins. A 4-0 victory for Gerrard’s troops is 16/1.
