Milan v Inter Predictions and Preview
The latest instalment of the Derby della Madonnina has added significance given the respective positions of both sides. On paper, Inter have the strongest squad in the division and with no European commitments, the Nerazzurri are hotly tipped to end Juventus’ domestic dominance.
In the home dugout, Stefano Pioli has expressed how decisive the upcoming fixture list is. The Rossoneri will tussle it out with Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday before facing their well-rested opponents on Sunday.

|Hakan Calhanoglu to score first||9/1||Offer|
|Draw and both teams to score||10/3||Offer|
|Over 4.5 goals||9/2||Offer|
Ibrahimovic will spearhead the eleven with Ante Rebic, Calhanoglu and Rafael Leao in support. The Rossoneri top scorer will be desperate to make up for his red card in the Coppa Italia and is 7/2 to open proceedings.
Rebic is 14/5 to net anytime, while Leao can be found at 12/5. The much-improved attacker is likely to feature from the right flank and merits his inclusion in the starting line-up. Fellow forward Mario Mandzukic will join the action after the break and is 15/2 to hit the final effort of the night. Milan are 13/5 to emerge triumphant and a draw is 5/2.
Elsewhere, after months of chopping and changing, Conte has settled on a preferred team. Christian Eriksen has salvaged his Nerazzurri career to link up with Marcelo Brozovic and star midfielder Nicolò Barella in the middle of the park.
The former Tottenham Hotspur ace’s free-kick was the difference when the clubs met in the cup and Eriksen is 17/2 to repeat his heroics. Romelu Lukaku leads the way alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in the scoring charts and is 16/5 to break the deadlock.
The Belgian was involved in an ugly exchange with old team-mate Ibrahimovic at the end of January and has a good record against Milan. Lautaro Martinez is 5/4 to register anytime and Ivan Perisic is 3/1. Inter are 21/20 to extend their advantage to four points.
One to watch for Milan: Franck Kessie is the designated spot kick taker but has also chipped in with some big goals. The fan favourite is 16/5 to bag anytime.
One to watch for Inter: Achraf Hakimi and Theo Hernandez are two of the most talented wing-back’s on the continent and their duel will go a long way to determining the outcome of the match. Only Lukaku and Martinez have scored more for the Nerazzurri than the right footer and Hakimi is 9/2 to strike anytime.
Long shot: Conte has spent a huge amount since his arrival in the Nerazzurri dugout and the fiery tactician will be mindful he has to deliver the Scudetto this term. Inter have the full week to prepare for the showdown and the extra 72 hours could make all the difference as Milan travel back from Belgrade. A 3-0 success for the new frontrunners is 22/1.
