Napoli v Fiorentina Predictions and Preview
Gennaro Gattuso is still without record buy Victor Osimhen. The recruit from Lille has not played since mid-November after suffering a shoulder injury and is now in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.
Osimhen has only played eight times for the Azzurri and Gattuso will be desperate to field the hotshot alongside Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne and Hirving Lozano.
Andrea Petagna has deputised for the Nigerian and Dries Mertens, who could make the bench after recovering from an ankle knock. The Trieste native joined the club 12 months ago but didn’t arrive until the start of the 2020-21 campaign and offers Napoli something different to his attacking colleagues.

|Insigne to score first||9/2||Offer|
|Napoli to win 3-1||11/1||Offer|
|Over 4.5 goals||4/1||Offer|
Petagna is 5/1 to break the deadlock and Lozano can be found at 7/2. The 25-year-old really struggled during his first campaign in Italy and there were strong reports he would be shipped out after falling down the pecking order.
12 months on and Lozano has turned things around in spectacular fashion. The player now has a good rapport with his manager and has eight goals and two assists from 22 appearances. Meanwhile, midfielders Piotr Zielinski and Fabian Ruiz are 11/4 and 13/5, respectively, to score anytime. The Azzurri are 8/15 to emerge triumphant.
Visitors Fiorentina have collected nine points from their last six fixtures. The Viola memorably thumped bitter rivals Juventus 3-0 and have the personnel to be achieving a top 10 finish. Cesare Prandelli is getting the best out of the talented, but inconsistent Vlahovic and the youngster has been instrumental in the Tuscans steady improvement.
Vlahovic is a mightily attractive 9/1 to score first and it would be his sixth strike from the last seven if he registers on the night. Silky playmaker Gaetano Castrovilli is 6/1 to net anytime and the travelling party are 5/1 to get the win. A stalemate is 16/5.
One to watch for Napoli: Fernando Llorente has come in from the cold and is one of only two recognised strikers available for selection. The veteran is 7/2 to notch the final effort.
One to watch for Fiorentina: Jose Callejon will make an emotional return to southern Italy and is 4/1 to bag anytime. The Spaniard was idolised by the locals and is unlikely to celebrate if he does get the better of Alex Meret.
Long shot: Napoli are devastating going forward, but do offer chances to the opposition. The Azzurri’s last clean sheet dates back to the trip to Crotone on Matchday 10 and star defender Kalidou Koulibaly is still not fully fit. A 3-2 outcome in favour of a Fiorentina squad growing in confidence is 45/1.
