Newcastle v Manchester City Predictions and Preview
Steve Bruce has come under intense criticism for his playing style, but deserves credit for keeping Newcastle in the Premier League. The Magpies operate in a 5-3-2 formation with Callum Wilson and Allan Saint-Maximin the standout performers and Joseph Willock proving an inspired loan signing.
Wilson has spent large chunks of the campaign on the sidelines and Newcastle are a completely different outfit when the former Bournemouth hotshot is fit and firing. The England international has 12 goals and five assists to his name from 28 appearances and is 14/5 to register anytime.
Saint-Maximin is not as prolific as his team-mate but offers spark and creativity and Bruce is braced for offers in the summer. The fan favourite is valued at £40m and can be found at a mightily attractive 18/1 to break the deadlock.

|Manchester City to win 2-0||13/2||Offer|
|Kevin De Bruyne to score first||9/2||Offer|
|Over 3.5 goals||11/8||Offer|
Willock has been a revelation since moving up north in February. The Arsenal owned midfielder has scored in each of his last four matches and is 5/1 to bag anytime. Newcastle are 12/1 to pull off a shock and a draw is 9/2.
Sergio Aguero has a stunning record against the Geordie outfit but the Argentine will have to settle for a second-half cameo. The Argentine has 12 in 14 against Newcastle and is 10/3 to hit the last effort.
Guardiola has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal but appears to have settled on a six of De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez, Gundogan and wonderkid Phil Foden in the middle of the park and front three.
The Stockport native is 11/2 to open proceedings and Champions League semi-final hero Mahrez is 21/4. Meanwhile, Gundogan, who is City’s top scorer, is available at 4/1 and is enjoying the best year of his career. City are 1/4 to get the better of the hosts.
One to watch for Newcastle: Jacob Murphy’s good form has alerted Rangers but the wing-back is set to sign a contract extension with the Magpies. The 26-year-old is 11/2 to notch anytime.
One to watch for Manchester City: Raheem Sterling has lost his place to Foden and could endure the same fate at Euro 2020. Despite his recent troubles, only Gundogan has netted more and the winger is 19/4 to strike last.
Long shot: Guardiola will have been smarting by Marcos Alonso’s stoppage time decider and City are guaranteed to come flying out the blocks. An early breakthrough could open the floodgates and a 5-0 away success is 28/1.
