Parma v Inter Predictions and Preview
Relegation threatened Parma are five points adrift of safety and have problems at both ends of the pitch. No side in the division has scored fewer than the Gialloblu and the inability to hold on to leads against Spezia and Udinese could prove costly.
The hosts brought in Graziano Pelle on a free transfer in January but the veteran is still out with a muscle injury. The former Italy international was a short-term option for Juventus and will be a useful option once fully fit.
In the meantime, Andreas Cornelius should start as the focal point, with Pelle, Joshua Zirkzee and Roberto Inglese all on the sidelines. The big Dane is on a barren run of form but hit double figures in 2019-20 and is a handful on his day. Cornelius is 11/4 to net anytime and Gervinho can be found at 9/2.

The former Roma and Arsenal speedster was on Antonio Conte’s summer shopping list before the tactician brought Andrea Pinamonti back to Giuseppe Meazza. Yann Karamoh was on the Nerazzurri’s books for three years and is 23/4 in the same market as his team-mates. Parma are 12/1 to pull off a shock result and a stalemate is 19/4.
Opponents Inter are flying high. Conte’s troops are four clear of Milan and 10 ahead of champions Juventus. The ex-Chelsea and Bianconeri boss has finally settled on a preferred eleven with previously exiled Christian Eriksen and Ivan Perisic playing starring roles in recent weeks.
Eriksen appeared set for a winter departure but has turned his career around in Italy and is 13/2 to break the deadlock. Deadly duo Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku are 5/2 and 7/2, respectively, to open proceedings and have 36 strikes and 12 assists between them this term. Achraf Hakimi is 13/8 to register anytime and the Nerazzurri are 1/4 to claim another victory.
One to watch for Parma: Juraj Kucka spent two campaigns with Milan and will have plenty of supporters on Thursday. The Gialloblu top scorer is 5/1 to bag anytime.
One to watch for Inter: Perisic has adjusted to Conte’s demands and is 6/4 to notch anytime. The World Cup finalist is quick, two footed, has good end product and is on course to win more silverware this season after clinching the treble at Bayern Munich.
Long shot: Conte knows its Scudetto or bust and if Inter fail to win the championship, there is a real possibility the fiery Lecce native could receive his marching orders. Equally, the Nerazzurri look unstoppable and few clubs in Europe would be able to contain the Serie A frontrunners in full flow. A 5-0 success is 30/1.
