Roma vs. Cagliari Predictions and Preview
With two victories from their last three games, Roma are back in contention for a Champions League berth. The capital club have improved under the tutelage of caretaker Claudio Ranieri and bar the upcoming encounter with Juventus, have a reasonable final run of clashes to engineer.
Ranieri has brought a calming influence to the dressing room and will be pleased with his much maligned defence that has struggled for large parts of the campaign. Further forward, Stephan El Shaarawy and Nicolo Zaniolo can be pleased with their showings this season.
The Italy internationals have starred for contrasting reasons with Zaniolo enjoying his breakthrough year. Meanwhile, compatriot El Shaarawy has 10 goals to his name, a tally only bettered by leading forward Edin Dzeko and the wideman is deserving of his place in Ranieri’s line-up.
