It may have a rather awkward name – and critics have downplayed the importance of the competition – but UEFA’s decision to reinstall a third tier tournament has been an unqualified success. Now Roma and Feyenoord, two clubs with European pedigree, face each other in Tirana for the right to lift the trophy.
Where and when: Arena Kombëtare – 25 May, kick-off 20:00

Last time: Unsurprisingly, these two have not met many times before. A round of 32 tie in 2015 is the only instance, when Roma drew and won over two legs to go through.
Roma vs. Feyenoord Predictions and Preview
Although initially derided, this first instalment of the Europa Conference League has added another dimension to European football this season. The latter rounds, in particular, have produced some intriguing ties and now Roma and Feyenoord will attempt to be the first ever champions.
Although there were some clubs parachuted in from the Europa League for the knockout rounds, both finalists started at the beginning of the competition – winning their respective groups. There have been some very good clubs involved this year and there have definitely been some surprises along the way.
Now Roma’s Jose Mourinho has the chance to add to his Champions League and Europa League medals, while providing the Serie A club with their first ever continental triumph. Feyenoord have actually won both the other European competitions, so a victory in Tirana would make them the first club to complete the set.
Roma vs. Feyenoord full time result odds
Roma go into this final as the favourites but this is likely to be a very close match. Feyenoord have not lost a single match in this competition and have navigated some tricky ties against Partizan Belgrade, Slavia Prague and Marseille to get to this stage. Roma have also beaten some very good sides and should be able to go all the way in the end. But a draw after 90 minutes looks good value at 5/2.
Roma vs. Feyenoord both teams to score odds
Feyenoord needed to play three qualifying rounds before even making the group stage of this competition. But the Dutch club managed to score in nearly every game on their way to the final. Roma did even better – finding the net all the way through, even when they were beaten twice by Bodø/Glimt. Given the occasion, it seems like a bet on both teams to score, at 7/10, would be the way to go here.
Roma vs. Feyenoord correct score odds
After games involving a lot of goals all through this tournament, both Roma and Feyenoord’s semi final second leg matches turned into far more cagey affairs. So it will be interesting to see whether that carries on into this final. How Jose Mourinho approaches the game is probably of high importance to what the final score will be. This could go to extra time – and even penalties – and 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes is priced at 11/2.
Roma vs. Feyenoord first goalscorer odds
Tammy Abraham has enjoyed an incredible season at the Stadio Olimpico and will be many people’s favourite to open the scoring at the Arena Kombëtare on Wednesday. But whether he will score first for Roma depends a lot on the tactics employed by the Serie A side. It might not be a complete surprise for Feyenoord to find the net first and a creative player like Orkun Kökcü could be a good choice here.
