Sampdoria v Inter Predictions and Preview
37-year-old Fabio Quagliarella has struck on seven occasions so far and is close to penning a 12-month contract extension at the request of Claudio Ranieri. The veteran has flourished in his thirties, winning the Capocannoniere and also receiving international recognition with the Azzurri.
Quagliarella won 3 Scudetti during his time with Juventus and is still making an impact at the highest level. The Doria talisman is 15/2 to break the deadlock and will be supplied by former Nerazzurri ace Antonio Candreva.

The versatile Italian was a favourite of Conte’s during their time together with the Azzurri and Inter, before Achraf Hakimi’s arrival signalled a more youthful direction for the title challengers.
Candreva is 15/4 to notch anytime, while Valerio Verre can be found at 19/5. Samp will be without Keita Balde Diao after his late dismissal in the clash with Sassuolo and Manolo Gabbiadini who is on the treatment table, but new addition Adrien Silva should feature in some capacity. Doria are 5/1 to chalk up the win and a stalemate is 16/5.
In the opposing camp, Conte finally seems to have settled on a preferred eleven. Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij comprise the back three, with Nicolò Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini in front of the rearguard.
Lukaku and Martinez are 12/5 and 10/3, respectively, to break the deadlock and the Belgian will have his eye on personal and collective honours in 2021. The ex-Manchester United forward is battling it out with Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ciro Immobile for the top scorer prize and his partner should not be too far behind in the pecking order.
The South American was heavily linked to Barcelona throughout the year but has refocused and is keeping Sanchez out of the team. Inter are 1/2 to record another victory.
One to watch for Sampdoria: Jakub Jankto has already eclipsed his haul from last term after just 11 appearances and is showing why Ranieri fought so hard to keep him in the summer. The Czech international is 5/1 to net anytime.
One to watch for Inter: Hakimi’s has finally adjusted to Conte’s demands and only Lukaku and Martinez have scored more for the Nerazzurri this campaign. The speedster is 13/5 to bag anytime.
Long shot: Inter have won the last six meetings between the sides and historically fare well in Liguria. In addition, the Blucerchiati have only kept one clean sheet all season and will struggle to contain the league’s top scorers. A 4-0 outcome in favour of the away dressing room is 28/1.
