Inter will attempt to bounce back from the defeat at the hands of Juventus when they travel to Emilia-Romagna to face Sassuolo in Serie A action. The Nerazzurri’s perfect start to the campaign was halted abruptly by the champions before the international break but Antonio Conte’s men shouldn’t be too disheartened as the league is still in its infancy.

Sassuolo v Inter Predictions and Preview
Sassuolo come in to the contest off the back of two defeats. The Neroverdi were beaten 1-0 by Parma before a thumping 4-1 loss on home soil against high-flying Atalanta.
The hosts currently sit in 15th place, and if they can shore up defensively, Roberto De Zerbi’s troops will quickly find themselves in midtable as they carry a real goalscoring threat. No squad in the bottom-half of the table has scored as many as Sassuolo’s tally of 11, nearly double the total of crisis-hit Milan.
In contrast, defensively, the Neroverdi have already leaked 12 efforts and if this pattern of conceding heavily continues, Domenico Berardi will need to deliver, much in the same vein as the first two months of the term.
The talented Italian has seven goal contributions to his name and would arguably be playing at a higher level if he could maintain consistency. Berardi is 12/5 to net anytime, while the home team are 17/4 to claim the win. A draw is available at 13/5.
Inter now find themselves a point below Juventus after the Derby d’Italia setback. Conte will be without the services of Alexis Sanchez after the attacker got injured on international duty with Chile.
The loanee could be out for up to three months with an ankle injury leaving the Italian tactician with just two first-team forwards. Romelu Lukaku is the 15/4 favourite to open proceedings, while partner Lautaro Martinez is 4/1 in the same market.
One to watch for Sassuolo: Francesco Caputo has scored goals everywhere he has been and is 7/5 to net anytime. The striker has three from four league appearances since moving to the Neroverdi in the summer.
One to watch for Inter: Nicolo Barella is a mainstay in both national and club setups but does need to add more goals to his game. The midfielder is 9/1 to register last.
Long shot: Sassuolo have an outstanding recent record against Inter, winning four of the last six meetings and will not be overawed by the occasion. The Neroverdi do commit numbers going forward and it should be an entertaining watch between two attack minded teams. A 2-2 final outcome is 15/1.
