It’s a midweek round and traditionally these tend to be packed full of goals. There are certainly some fixtures that would fit the bill, such as the exhilarating Roma vs. Atalanta and Napoli vs. Lazio, and some fun could also be had in Bologna, Genoa and our old friends Crotone.
While Parma’s season has practically fallen to pieces, Juventus still need to salvage something and could possibly have Cristiano Ronaldo back for Wednesday night.

No stopping Atalanta
Roma vs. Atalanta – Thursday April 22, Stadio Olimpico, Kick-off: 5.30pm
Watch live on Premier Sports/Streaming
Atalanta surged into third place with a late victory over Juventus and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t do the same against a Roma side who simply don’t have the strength in depth for this competition and the Europa League. Add in that the Giallorossi have a shocking record against the top seven teams and you can see why an away win is considered the favourite result.
Best bet for Roma vs. Atalanta: Atalanta to win at 19/20 with 888 Sport
Leaky Lazio
Napoli vs. Lazio – Thursday April 22, Stadio Maradona, Kick-off: 7.45pm
Watch live on Premier Sports/Streaming
As I predicted, Napoli kept it fairly tight against Inter and that showdown ended 1-1, but this is bound to be a more open affair. Lazio played a 5-3 thriller with Benevento on Sunday that could easily have had more goals in it, while suspended Diego Demme will be replaced in the Partenopei midfield by the less reliable Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Best bet for Napoli vs. Lazio: Over 2.5 Goals at 8/11 with William Hill
Toro set the tempo
Bologna vs. Torino – Wednesday April 21, Stadio Dall’Ara, Kick-off: 7.45pm
Watch live on Premier Sports/Streaming
Bologna set a new Serie A record for consecutive games without a clean sheet this season and they are also painfully inconsistent, lurching from victory to defeat. They won comfortably at the weekend – conceding as well, naturally – while Torino fought back from a goal down to beat Roma 3-1. The Granata are too good to go down and their fighting spirit is always on show.
Best bet for Bologna vs. Torino: Over 3.5 Goals at 11/5 on BetVictor
