Serie A tips of the week: Inter vs. Atalanta shoot-out

Inter and Atalanta club crests

Football Italia’s Susy Campanale takes you through the best Serie A tips of the week…

When we have the two top-scoring teams in Serie A go head-to-head, it’s bound to be entertaining. I cannot see fewer than four goals when leaders Inter and third-placed Atalanta face off at San Siro, as between them they’ve scored 102 in the league this season. This week’s Serie A tips have to start with that enticing encounter.

Elsewhere this weekend, Juventus remain frankly unimpressive, even if they do churn out results, and Lazio are so error-prone at the back that there have to be goals there too. Torino are decimated by COVID and it’s the best opportunity new Crotone coach Serse Cosmi will ever get to end the negative streak.

Don’t forget to check out the Serie A Week 26 accumulator below!

San Siro excitement

Inter vs. Atalanta – Monday March 8, San Siro, Kick-off: 7.45pm

Watch live on Premier Sports/Streaming

Inter are running away with the Scudetto now and have no injury concerns or other commitments, but Atalanta remain an exhilarating force in Serie A and Europe. These are two teams who will go at each other from start to finish, so I’d be very surprised if we get under 3.5 goals here.

Best bet for Inter vs. Atalanta: Over 3.5 Goals at 11/10 with Bet Victor

Juventus and Lazio have developed quite the rivalry in recent seasons and the Old Lady aren't as reliable as they used to be in the Serie A tips.

All or nothing

Juventus vs. Lazio – Saturday March 6, Allianz Stadium, Kick-off: 7.45pm

Watch live on Premier Sports/Streaming

It feels like in recent years this has been the recurring rivalry in Italian football, clashing in the Coppa Italia, Serie A and the Italian Supercup. They are also at a stage where a point will do neither much good, so they have to win this and will go all-out. Add in the distraction of the Champions League and injury problems, it’s a recipe for lots of mistakes and that means goals.

Best bet for Juventus vs. Lazio: Over 2.5 Goals at 3/4 with 888 Sport

Crotone’s turn

Crotone vs. Torino – Sunday March 7, Stadio Scida, Kick-off: 2.00pm

Watch live on Premier Sports/Streaming

Serse Cosmi made his debut on the Crotone bench with a 5-1 defeat to Atalanta, but this is a very different prospect. It’s a relegation dogfight, but above all half the Torino squad is out with COVID, they had to postpone their last two Serie A games because of the outbreak and were even banned from training until Wednesday. If Crotone are ever going to end their run of six consecutive defeats, it’s here.

Best bet for Crotone vs. Torino: Crotone to Win at 3/1 on Bet Victor
