Serie A tips of the week: Stuttering Roma and goals in Spezia

Roma vs. Bologna, Serie A

Football Italia’s Susy Campanale takes you through the best Serie A tips of the week…

For more than 20 years, Susy Campanale has been at the forefront of Italian football coverage for Football Italia. With a unique level of experience and expertise covering Serie A, Susy casts an expert eye across the latest round of action and picks out the best Serie A tips of the week, exclusively with Eurotips.

The Scudetto race is run in Serie A this season, as even Pazza Inter wouldn’t manage to throw away an 11-point lead, let alone Antonio Conte’s Juve-fied version of the Nerazzurri. Everything else, however, is absolutely to play for and we could see some big changes to the table over the next few weeks.

The battle for the top four is more wide open than ever, with at least five teams fighting it out for the remaining three spots. As for relegation, it’s hard to argue Crotone have any hope, but Parma and Cagliari are more than capable of putting together a run of results and clawing their way back into contention.

Tired Roma

Roma vs. Bologna – Sunday April 11, Stadio Olimpico, Kick-off: 5.00pm

Roma are flying the flag for Italy in the Europa League, with an impressive 2-1 win away to Ajax on Thursday night. That also means they’ll be absolutely exhausted come Sunday and with Leonardo Spinazzola another addition to the injury list. Bologna might not be solid defensively in the slightest, but they are a good side who can cause an upset here. I wouldn’t be against tipping a Bologna victory, but a draw might be a bit more reliable.

Surely Overs in Spezia

Spezia vs. Crotone – Saturday April 10, Stadio Picco, Kick-off: 2.00pm

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a tip that I felt more confident about than this game having Over 3.5 Goals. Crotone aren’t going down without a fight, throwing six and even seven-goal thrillers left, right and centre, while Spezia are always at the very least entertaining, if unpredictable. At least four goals is a conservative estimate.

Toro on top

Udinese vs. Torino – Saturday April 10, Dacia Arena, Kick-off: 7.45pm

Torino were unlucky to only draw 2-2 with Juventus in the Derby della Mole and they’ll be fired up for this fixture, as it could be another big step towards Serie A safety. Antonio Sanabria has made a big difference upfront, while Salvatore Sirigu catching COVID should even things up when it comes to getting Udinese some goals too.

Best bet for Udinese vs. Torino: Over 2.5 Goals at 23/20 on Bet Victor
