Sheffield United v Brighton Predictions and Preview
Sheffield United have lost an astonishing 26 of their 32 league fixtures and have been rooted to the bottom of the table for almost the entirety of the campaign. The Blades had to wait until the middle of January to collect their first victory and there has been little to cheer this term.
Rhian Brewster joined from Liverpool last summer and has been a huge disappointment. The £23.5m striker has yet to score in 26 appearances, while fellow new recruit Aaron Ramsdale made a series of high-profile mistakes after replacing the popular Dean Henderson between the sticks.

|Brighton to win 2-0||7/1||Offer|
|Lewis Dunk to score first||22/1||Offer|
|Under 1.5 goals||11/5||Offer|
Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick have 12 goals and three assists between them and will need support if Sheffield United are to achieve promotion at the first opportunity. Skipper Sharp is out with a thigh strain, but his partner is available and can be found at 11/1 to open proceedings.
Sander Berge’s time at Bramall Lane is likely to be short lived. The giant Norwegian is admired by Aston Villa and also has other suitors in the division. The 23-year-old has been on the sidelines since December with a hamstring injury and was one of Chris Wilder’s better acquisitions. The Blades are 4/1 to emerge triumphant and 5/2 to earn a share of the spoils.
Visiting party Brighton picked up a creditable draw against Chelsea in midweek. The Seagulls are seven points above the drop zone and have also played a game less than Fulham who sit in 17th. Neal Maupay and Danny Welbeck will lead the line and are 7/2 and 11/2, respectively. To break the deadlock. Highly-rated Ben White is serving suspension after receiving his marching orders at Stamford Bridge and Joel Veltman will deputise for the Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City target. Brighton are 8/11 to record a crucial victory.
One to watch for Sheffield United: Oliver Burke is blessed with blistering pace and is back in a more familiar wide role. The Nottingham Forest youth graduate is 10/3 to net anytime.
One to watch for Brighton: Leandro Trossard has formed a good understanding with fellow playmaker Pascal Gross and is in contention to make Roberto Martinez’s Euro 2020 squad. The Belgian is 3/1 to register anytime.
Long shot: Brighton have a clear philosophy under Potter and have been unlucky on a number of occasions this term. The Seagulls have drawn more matches than any team in the Premier League and the challenge is to be more clinical in 2021-22 and cement themselves in midtable. A 4-0 success is 33/1.
