Opponents Milan are flying high in Serie A. The Rossoneri are five clear of closest challengers Inter and have not been phased by the absence of talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in the clash with Napoli a fortnight ago and is still a week ago from returning to the matchday squad.

Ante Rebic has deputised for the veteran down the middle and is 15/4 to register first. The versatile forward will be ably supported by Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Díaz and Jens Petter Hauge and the trio are all in the goals.

Çalhanoğlu has yet to sign a new contact but the latest reports suggest the playmaker will finally put pen to paper in the coming weeks. Manchester United and Juventus are admirers of the Rossoneri number 10 who is 13/8 to net anytime.

Meanwhile, Hauge, who has shone since arriving from Bodo/Glimt, is 11/2 to open the scoring and is pushing Alexis Saelemaekers for a more regular role in the eleven.

Stefano Pioli will be thrilled with the depth at his disposal and Leao, Sandro Tonali and Matteo Gabbia have all impressed when called upon. Milan are 11/20 to come away with the spoils.

One to watch for Sparta Prague: Ladislav Krejčí spent four years of his career in Italy with Bologna before rejoining his boyhood club last summer. The midfield ace is 11/2 to notch anytime.

One to watch for Milan: Dalot is playing second fiddle to Davide Calabria in the league but features more prominently in Europe. The marauding full-back is 19/2 to bag the final effort.

Long shot: Sparta carry a good goal threat but are also vulnerable defensively. Czech Republic’s most successful outfit have shipped 16 in the league, a further 11 on the continent, and will afford Milan plenty of chances. A 4-1 triumph in favour of the away dressing room is 22/1.
