Last time: Napoli came out on top in the six-goal thriller back in April. Jakub Jankto gave the Zebrette a surprising lead before Lorenzo Insigne quickly equalised. Three second-half goals during an 11 minute period from Raul Albiol, Arek Milik and Lorenzo Tonelli ultimately sealed the points for the Partenopei.
Udinese vs. Napoli Predictions and Preview
Udinese have lost their last three league matches and the schedule doesn’t get any easier after the visit of Napoli. The Zebrette have matches with Milan and Roma coming up and need to put a run together to avoid a repeat of last term’s dramatic run-in. Udinese were defeated in 12 of their final 15 games but back-to-back victories ensured their survival with a fixture to spare.
Zebrette leading scorer Rodrigo De Paul will be the chief threat for the home team. The Argentine was rewarded for his fine personal form and is now a full international for the Albiceleste. De Paul is 4/1 to net anytime while Udine are available at 17/4 to claim all three points.

|Dries Mertens to score last||4/1||Offer|
|Napoli to win 2-0||13/2||Offer|
Carlo Ancelotti’s Napoli have struck 15 times from their opening eight league contests with Insigne instrumental. The Neapolitan has been a revelation in a new central role and his tally of six goals is only bettered by Genoa’s Krzysztof Piatek. Insigne is not a youngster anymore and has also been given a senior role with Roberto Mancini as Italy rebuild from their World Cup embarrassment. The 27-year-old is the 4/1 favourite to open proceedings and 13/2 to get two or more.
Attacking team-mate Milik is another enticing option. The Polish hitman is fully-fit and proving to be a useful option both from the start and off the bench. Milik 6/4 to bag anytime while the Azzurri can be found at 4/7 to chalk up another victory.
One to watch for Udinese: Kevin Lasagna. The striker returns to club duty after making an impact on his Italy debut and will be full of confidence. Lasagna is 9/1 to register first.
One to watch for Napoli: Piotr Zieliński, who is 6/1 in the same first scorer market. The midfielder has two goals to his name from eight appearances and has impressed following Ancelotti’s arrival.
Long shot: Despite the lack of summer signings, Napoli have dispelled the notion they will struggle going forward. Ancelotti has given his attack minded players another dimension, with last term’s fringe players brought in to the first team picture and contributing. A 3-0 triumph for the visitors is 11/1.
