This weekend’s late kick-off on Saturday comes from Vicarage Road, where Watford have the unenviable task of stopping the Liverpool juggernaut. Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are cantering to their first ever Premier League title, and are on course to go the whole season unbeaten.

Watford v Liverpool Predictions and Preview
Twenty-six wins and no defeats from 27 games is some record, and Liverpool are aiming to protect their status as the only unbeaten team in all of Europe’s top five leagues against a Watford side who are battling relegation. The Hornets are second from bottom of the Premier League, and surely have no chance of a result this weekend.
Nigel Pearson looked like he’d turned Watford’s season right around in his early days in the job, inspiring his new team to a six-match unbeaten run in the league, which started in December and included four wins. The festive cheer has since subsided, and the Hornets are without a win in five, losing three.
It’s been a tough run of games for the Hertfordshire club, but it’s going to get worse before it gets better this weekend. Liverpool have the rest of the division in their back pocket as they cruise to a first league title in 30 years. West Ham gave them a game on Monday night, but the Reds showed their fighting spirit to record an excellent 3-2 comeback win.

Liverpool to win to nil
Liverpool to win 3-0
Salah to score first
Klopp may be missing the influential Jordan Henderson at the moment due to a hamstring injury, but even with Xherdan Shaqiri out and James Milner struggling, Liverpool surely have far too much in their locker for their hosts this weekend.
Watford, for their part, will only be missing Daryl Janmaat for this difficult assignment, with Kiko Femenia expected to return from injury. A fully-fit squad and home advantage won’t give the majority of the fans inside Vicarage Road much hope on Saturday though.
Liverpool have only conceded 17 goals in 27 Premier League fixtures so far this term, rattling in 64 at the other end – only four fewer than top scorers Manchester City. The Blues are an incredible 22 points behind the team set to take their crown though, and the side who start as the 5/11 favourites for the win in this match. Watford are available at 7/1, with the draw priced at 4/1.
One to watch for Watford: If the hosts are going to get anything out of this game, they’re going to need a big performance from goalkeeper Ben Foster. The former Manchester United man is certainly capable of one, and he is 7/1 to keep a clean sheet.
One to watch for Liverpool: Mohamed Salah is in the hunt for the Golden Boot this season, having scored 15 goals and laid on six assists so far this term. Only Kevin De Bruyne has a higher combined total, with Salah – who hit a brace against Watford earlier this season – priced at 18/5 to break the deadlock here.
Long shot: Liverpool have won seven of their last eight games against Watford, drawing the other 3-3. The Reds have scored 27 goals in those eight matches, at an average of 3.375 per game, keeping six clean sheets. Klopp’s side put three past West Ham last time out, and are 19/2 to win this game 3-0.
