What are the best both teams to score bets in Serie A this weekend?

After some massive results over the weekend, the Serie A season is reaching a crescendo almost everywhere apart from at the top. Juventus may have the scudetto sewn up, but there’s everything to play for below the Old Lady, including in the battle for the Champions League places. So, this week we’re taking a look at the best both teams to score bets in Serie A for the weekend’s coming action.

Atalanta get matchday 36 underway at home to Genoa on Saturday afternoon. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side recorded a wonderful 3-1 victory away to top four rivals Lazio at the weekend, while Genoa are still fighting hard against relegation. Fourth-placed Atalanta have conceded 43 goals this season, which is 15 more than third-placed Inter and nine more than Milan in fifth. The Rossoblu meanwhile have averaged more than a goal a game this season, and also beat Atalanta 3-1 in the first meeting between the teams this season. We like both teams to score here at 4/5.

Lazio’s defeat to Atalanta puts them out of the race to get into next season’s Champions League. They’re seven points off fourth, and they go away to Cagliari at the weekend, who’ve lost back-to-back games to Napoli and Roma. The Sardinians scored away at second-placed Napoli on Sunday, while their last two games against Lazio have both seen four goals. That includes a 2-2 draw in last season’s corresponding fixture, with a both teams to score bet here priced at 4/6.

Saturday’s third game sees Fiorentina host Milan in the evening kick-off. Gennaro Gattuso’s side beat Bologna on Monday to keep them three points behind Atalanta, and they can’t afford any more slips ups. Fiorentina meanwhile are on a poor run, after four straight defeats and 13 games without a win. However, they’ve scored 14 goals in those 13 games, including three against both Inter and Atalanta. La Viola’s games are rarely dull and Milan need a win. The Rossoneri spanked Fiorentina 5-1 last season, but Vincenzo Montella’s side won at the San Siro earlier this term, with BTTS here at 3/4.

The highlight of Sunday’s action is Roma’s game against Juventus. Tied on 59 points with Milan, the capital club have to beat the champions if they want to keep their top four hopes alive. Their games against Juve have mostly been low-scoring affairs in recent years though. Just one of the last six Serie A meetings between the sides have seen both teams score, while none of the last three have. Juve’s season has petered out since they were knocked out of the Champions League, and we’re backing against BTTS on Sunday at 17/11.

Two other games where we’re going against BTTS are SPAL against Napoli and Inter against Chievo. Napoli have beaten SPAL 1-0 in each of the last two meetings between the sides, and you can bet against BTTS this weekend at 13/10. The same outcome at the San Siro on Monday is 4/5, as Inter host Serie A’s bottom club who’ve only scored 25 times in 35 games all season. If you fancy throwing our six picks for this weekend’s Serie A both teams to score bets into an accumulator, you can get odds of 44/1.
