There are some cracking fixtures coming up in Serie A this weekend. Friday night’s clash between Juventus and Inter Milan probably takes the biscotti, but there’s money to be made across the league when it comes to both teams to score odds. Here we take a look at the best.
Both Teams to Score Serie A Predictions and Preview
Starting with that blockbuster clash between Juve and Inter, both teams to score is available at 20/21. The home team are the league leaders and top scorers, while the visitors have plundered 27 goals in 14 games. The last meeting between the sides produced five goals, and with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi around, another high-scoring affair could be on the cards.
Moving into Saturday, second from bottom Frosinone travel to second-placed Napoli. The away team are Serie A’s joint-lowest scorers with bottom club Chievo, while Napoli won last season’s corresponding fixture 4-0. You can bet against both teams scoring in this game at 8/11.
Cagliari against Roma is an interesting one, as the capital club have won the last three meetings between the sides 1-0. However, two of those were in Rome. This one’s away, where both teams hit the back of the net in the three meetings prior to last season. Roma aren’t in great form this term – they’re closer to the bottom of the table than the top, despite Chievo’s paltry two points. Both teams to score here is 14/19.
Fifth-placed Lazio host Sampdoria in 10th on Saturday evening. This is a fixture that’s produced a lot of goals in recent seasons, with 23 in the last five meetings. Seventeen of those have come in the last three games between them, thanks to an incredible 7-3 Lazio win at the Stadio Olimpico last year. Sampdoria have scored 21 goals already this term, so both teams to score looks very tasty at 10/11.
Eighth and 12th collide Sunday lunchtime, as Sassuolo host Fiorentina at the Citta del Tricolore. Sassuolo snuck a 1-0 win in this last fixture, but Fiorentina won 3-0 earlier in the campaign, and the five meetings before last season all saw both teams score. We fancy a repeat of that this weekend at 5/6.
Also on Sunday is AC Milan and Torino, as Serie A’s sixth-placed side travel to the team in fourth. Both teams are scoring goals this season, while both have been vulnerable at the back too. Gonzalo Higuain is back from suspension, while four of the last five meetings between the clubs have seen both teams hit the back of the net. They are 5/6 to do so again here.
Long shot: If you’re looking to stack up the odds with your both teams to score bets, why not throw them all together in an accumulator? Depending on the bookmaker you go with, you can expect odds of around 30/1 on all of these bets paying out.
