Borussia Dortmund resume their title challenge with a trip to Wolfsburg on Saturday. Die Schwarzgelben returned from the enforced break with a bang last weekend and the visitors have a great record against Die Wolfe.

Wolfsburg v Borussia Dortmund Predictions and Preview
Borussia Dortmund have enjoyed some excellent days out against Wolfsburg in recent seasons, winning eight of the last nine meetings between the sides, drawing the other 0-0 in Dortmund in January 2018.
Die Borussen have won on each of their last four visits to the Volkswagen Arena, and have netted 24 goals in those eight most recent victories, conceding only three. Wolfsburg may have the home advantage here, but that will be reduced by the lack of fans inside the stadium this weekend.
It was a case of no fans, no problem for Dortmund as they cruised to a 4-0 derby victory over Schalke last time out, taking Lucien Favre’s side to their fifth straight Bundesliga win. Die Schwarzgelben have won eight of their last nine, with just a four-point gap to league leaders Bayern Munich.

Dortmund to win to nil
Dortmund to win 2-0
Haaland to score first
Wolfsburg also won on their return to action, beating Augsburg 2-1 away from home. That was a return to winning ways for Oliver Glasner’s side after back-to-back draws before the break, with the Lower Saxons currently occupying a Europa League spot for next season.
Freiburg and Schalke are both snapping at Die Wolfe’s heels though, trailing them by only two points. A victory here for the home team would be huge, and they are 18/5 to get it. Dortmund are the 8/11 favourites to take the three points though, while the draw’s priced at 3/1.
One to watch for Wolfsburg: Dutch forward Wout Weghorst is Wolfsburg’s top scorer this season with 15 goals so far in all competitions. He is 6/1 to open the scoring on Saturday.
One to watch for Dortmund: Who else but Erling Haaland? The Norwegian prodigy has scored 13 goals in just 12 appearances since joining Der BVB, and is 14/5 to break the deadlock here, just like he did against Schalke last weekend.
Long shot: Dortmund haven’t conceded a goal against Wolfsburg in the last six meetings between the teams, scoring 12 goals at the other end. The away team are 19/2 to win this game 2-0, rising to 35/1 with Haaland scoring first.
